Vacation 2015- Day Five

On Thursday we woke up in Castaway Cay Bahamas, Disney's private island.  It's also one of our favorite places in the world!  The past two times that we have been we have stayed on the family side.  This year we decided to check out the adults only, Serenity Bay.  Boy oh boy were we happy we did!  It was so quiet and so peaceful.  I can't believe that we missed out on that before.

Here was our view at breakfast.  We had breakfast at Cabana's.

Off the ship and heading to Serenity Bay!

Before arriving at Serenity Bay we had character pictures done with Minnie, Chip n Dale, and Pluto.  Serenity Bay is not in walking distance.  We had to take the tram over there.  When we arrived it was breath taking.  Here is my view from my hammock:

The water was beautiful!  We had such a nice time.  We ate lunch at Cookies 2.  We had hotdogs, potato salad, chips.  For dessert we had ice cream cones.  In the late afternoon we had to head back over to the family side because we had reservations to swim with the stingrays.  Here is Bryan snorkeling.  I just did the stingray shuffle.  I don't snorkel.

View of the ship from the family beach:

I love Mount Rustmore!  It has been painted and looked great!  Such a fun place to take pictures!

We arrived back to the ship and changed for pictures.  The pumpkins grew on the tree while we were gone.

And Vampire Mickey came out for a visit.

We made reservations to eat at Palo.  This is one of our favorite places to eat while on a Disney cruise.  It's another adults only thing Disney has.  We had an amazing dinner and an amazing waiter.  We had anti-pasta, bread, white bean soup, and tomato caprese.  For our entrees Bryan ordered scallops and I originally wanted shrimp pasta.  However our waiter asked me for a back up and I told him stuffed chicken.  Come to find out the shrimp pasta was not very popular and he knew this.  He brought me out the chicken and just a small portion of the pasta.  I am so glad that he did.  The chicken was fabulous and the shrimp not so much.  I ended up not eating it.  For dessert we got the infamous chocolate soufflé.  We had waited 3 years for that dessert!

After dinner we stopped by the family Halloween party.  It was really fun!  Donald Duck came out and danced with everyone.  He did the Michael Jackson Thriller dance with all of the kids.  It was great!

What a fun day!  Tomorrow we dock at Nassau Bahamas.
