Vacation 2015- Day Seven
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! We woke up today at Castaway Cay. I'll have to be honest, we took this trip because it was Halloween but the main reason was that it double dipped to Castaway Cay. Before heading out to the island I reserved tickets to see Anna & Elsa. This is a change from our last cruises. Now to see the princesses you have to reserve tickets through guest services. I did not know this until I asked a lady with a child where the princesses were. Thank goodness that I asked. Meeting them was awesome! Anna asked me if Bryan was my Kristoff. And even though Olaf wasn't there they said they like warm hugs too. Made my day!
We were a little late getting onto the island but we had all day. We reserved a float and bikes for today. The biggest thing for me was that I left my camera on the ship. I get so tired of lugging that thing around and I just wanted a relaxing day. We met up with our table mates Jeremy and Phaedra and spent the day with them. They are so nice. We floated around on our floats and talked. We had lunch at Cookies 2. After lunch we did our bike rides. It took me a few minutes to get the hang of it but once I did I loved it. We rode on the bike trail which ended up taking us to a tower that looked out over the island. I was then disappointed that I didn't have my camera. I didn't even have my iPhone. Oh well, the sights were beautiful and I'll definitely take pictures next time. It was an amazing day and I can't believe that we spent Halloween swimming, floating, bicycling.
Back on the ship, it was our last night so we took more pictures.
Before dinner we attended the Pumpkin Tree show. It was so fun and at the end graffiti fell shaped like Mickey.
Dinner tonight was in Lumiere's. For appetizer I ordered Escargot and Bryan ordered Breaded and Deep Fried Brie. For soups we both ordered the French Onion Soup. For entrees I ordered Aged Angus Grilled Beef Tenderloin. Bryan did not want anything on the menu so they actually went to a different restaurant and brought him an entree from there. For dessert we both had the Tahitian Vanilla Creme Brûlée. Everything was delicious!
After dinner was the See Ya Real Soon show where all of the characters come out and tell us not goodbye but see ya real soon.
We caught the 11pm showing of Antman in 3D. We had already seen it but Bryan wanted to see again since movies on the cruise are free. I actually ended up falling asleep.
What a memorable and fun Halloween! I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend one of our favorite holidays. Unfortunately tomorrow we are back in Miami.
