Vacation 2015- Day Six

On Friday we woke up in Nassau Bahamas.  We were very unimpressed with Nassau the last time we were here.  We didn't have an excursion planned so we decided to stay on the ship and make it our unofficial day at sea.  While Bryan slept in a little I went around and took some pictures.  Here is our view of Nassau:

We were close to the Atlantis resort.  We originally wanted to take an excursion there and have a day at their water park but we just didn't feel it was worth it for the amount of money it was and the lack of time you really got to spend there.

After Bryan got up we ate breakfast in Cabana's and watched other ships come in.  It was a busy day today.  After Norwegian Breakaway docked another Carnival ship arrived.  There were 2 Carnivals, 1 Norwegian, and us there at the dock.

We changed into our swimsuits and hung out by the adults only pool.  We braved Aqua Dunk!  Bryan loved it but I was terrified.  I chickened out a first and had to leave the capsule.  But the lifeguard was nice and allowed me to watch Bryan go down first.  So I got in and let that floor drop out from under me.  It was SCARY!  I rode it a second time but that was enough for me.  I know this is the way of watersides now but good grief.  I much prefer the old fashion way of just swinging yourself over into the slide.  That's why I preferred the yellow slide....it was slow and fun.

After a fun afternoon swimming and sliding we got dressed for pictures with characters.

Before dinner we met and had our picture taken with our Captain.

Dinner tonight was in Carioca's.  This restaurant was new to us since it's only on the Magic.  It was pirate's night so the menu was the same.  I had the potstickers and Bryan had the crab cakes for the appetizer. For salad I had the Mr Smee's Bibb salad.  For soup Bryan had the Caribbean Style Conch Chowder. For entrees Bryan had the Treasure of the Seas Shrimp and Scallops without the shrimp.  My entree was the same except I asked for no scallops.  For dessert we both had the Rum Soaked Chocolate Cake.  It was all so good!!

During dinner we all got up did limbo then danced in conga line and danced around the room.  So fun!

After dinner was the fireworks show which is always the best.  This time I took less pictures and video and just enjoyed myself.

After the Pirates in the Caribbean show we stayed for the Haunted Tales at Sea.  It wasn't scary obviously but it was fun.  There was some play acting along with the "captain" on the screen telling stories.  That gave it more of a comedic tone.

That's it for today!  Tomorrow we are back at Castaway Cay!!!
