Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs
This past Tuesday we headed down to Disney Springs for our date day.
I love Disney Springs! I know it isn't the parks but it still gives you that Disney feel. We arrived around 1430 and spent the afternoon walking around and shopping. I got the Mickey & Minnie mania Pandora charms for my bracelet and a pair of Minnie pajamas. Bryan bought a Mickey pajama tee shirt and a Mickey hat to add to his collection. We ate lunch at Earl of Sandwich and oh my goodness was it good! It ended up raining pretty bad shortly after we arrived and it wasn't planning on stopping so we bought ponchos to make things a little more comfortable. Before dinner I stopped by Goofy's Candy Co and had a candy apple made for us.
Dinner at Morimoto Asia was fantastic! I usually do not eat any kind of seafood but shrimp and oysters. Bryan loves almost any seafood. We agreed to order the Krab rangoons and California rolls knowing that I probably wouldn't like them. Boy was I wrong! They were delicious! Bryan ordered the lobster wok fun and I ordered the wok fry shrimp. We tried each other's food and I couldn't believe how good Bryan's lobster was. I think what this boiled down to was when things are prepared and cooked right then they taste good. We had great service. Our waitress gave us a menu signed by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, which was so exciting to us. We loved watching him on Iron Chef America.
After dinner we headed home. We didn't get home until after 0200. We really had a great time!
